Visa to Greenland and Faroe Islands
Greenland and the Faroe Islands are part of the Kingdom of Denmark, however Greenland and the Faroe Islands are not part of the Schengen area. Consequently, a visa valid for the Schengen area or an Italian residence permit is not valid to enter Greenland or the Faroe Islands.
Third country nationals included in the first part of the list from the Danish Immigration Service need to apply for a specific visa for Greenland or the Faroe Islands.

Procedure for visa application
Please fill in your visa application and pay the application fee online using the link https://applyvisa.um.dk/. After having submitted the application and paid the visa fee online, you must print and sign the cover letter and hand it in person together with the supporting documentation at the Danish Embassy in Rome.
